For some time now, the Law School and University of Queensland Law Alumni Association (UQLA) have been seeking to further develop their links with alumni located outside of Brisbane.
 
As a part of this program, the UQLA warmly invites UQ law alumni based in Townsville to a special Reunion & Networking Evening to be held on 22 July 2026.
 
We are delighted that the new Northern Judge, the Hon Justice Christopher Johnstone, will join as a guest and give a short address.
 
Professor Rick Bigwood, Dean of the UQ Law School, will also be in attendance. Paul Martinez (1969) and Lucy Martinez (1998) will provide us with local perspectives.
 
This will be a fantastic opportunity to reconnect with fellow alumni, hear insights from the bench, and strengthen our professional community in North Queensland.
