Everyone who holds a University of Queensland Law Degree is very welcome to join the UQLA and help us support the efforts of the current generation of student of the UQ Law School.
Why Join?
The UQLA is a charitable body which depends upon its members, membership fees and donations to operate its programmes. Each of these programmes is designed around our greatest asset – the people of the alumni community – but a small amount of financial support is required.
Joining fees are set at a nominal level, to maximise alumni participation. The joining fees are currently $20 – with a discounted rate of $10 for Recent Graduates. The Recent Graduates discount is available to applicants who obtained their first UQ Law Degree within the last three years.
Your involvement in the UQLA is also intended to be enjoyable and informative. The UQLA will be organising regular members’ breakfasts, lectures and other functions, to allow members to hear from interesting and eminent speakers, to catch up with former classmates and meet other generations of alumni – whilst at the same time supporting the UQLA’s programmes.
